Tehran hosts meeting of ECO Deputy Foreign Ministers' High-Level Committee

On February 3, Tehran hosted the first meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states chaired by Kazakhstan.
The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov.
The parties discussed preparations for the next meeting of the ECO Heads of State Council in Azerbaijan in 2025.
An exchange of views took place on further improvement of the Organization's activities and prospects for cooperation within the ECO.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the "ECO Vision 2025" and the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan to develop a conceptual document "strategic goals of economic cooperation - 2035".
