Meeting with the Deputy Secretary General of the CIS

On September 27, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov held a meeting with Deputy Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Independent States Denis Trefilov.
The parties noted the successful start of the CIS Mission’s work and its headquarters opening in Tashkent to monitor the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The progress of preparations for the upcoming Commonwealth Summit and the Organization’s current activities were discussed.
Yevgeniy Kozyak, Head of the CIS Mission headquarters, also attended the meeting.
