On the Meeting with the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia

On June 4, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirvokhid Azimov met with Kairat Sarybay, Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia.
Within the framework of the meeting, the current state and prospects for further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the CICA were discussed. The parties emphasized the importance of promoting practical mechanisms aimed at strengthening connectivity in the trade, economic, transport and logistics spheres within the framework of CICA.
During the conversation, topical issues on the regional and international agenda were also discussed, and an exchange of views took place on the institutional development of the CICA.
