On the meeting with the State Minister for European and International Affairs of Bavaria

On April 10, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Eric Beisswenger, the State Minister for European and International Affairs of Bavaria.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of Uzbekistan–Germany relations, with particular attention given to strengthening cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The importance of taking practical measures to increase trade volumes between the two sides and expand investment projects was noted.
In addition, State Minister E.Beisswenger highly appreciated the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan aimed at modernizing the economy and improving the investment climate. The foreign side also highlighted the steady growth of the country’s international standing, as well as its increasing role as a reliable partner on the international stage.
