A ceremonial award event was held at the Treasury Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance within the framework of a quiz organized based on the work “Temur’s Code,” aimed at increasing the reading culture among civil servants and strengthening interest in studying our national history and rich spiritual heritage in depth.
Responsible officials from the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Treasury Committee took part in the event.
The event was opened with an introductory speech by the Minister’s Advisor on enhancing the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work and ensuring compliance with legislation on the state language, Makhmudov Obiddin Abbasovich. In his speech, he shared interesting information about the life and activities of Amir Temur, his high competence in public administration, and the continued relevance of the work “Temur’s Code” today. He especially emphasized that every civil servant should read this work.
The Chairman of the Treasury Committee, Khaydarov Abdulaziz Abdulahadovich, also delivered a speech, highlighting the rich historical heritage of Amir Temur, his governance principles, and the importance of reading in personal and professional development. Other participants also shared their views during the event.
According to the results of the quiz, Karimova Ozoda Umaraliyevna, who successfully passed all stages and achieved high results, was declared the winner and was ceremonially awarded. As a commemorative gift, she was presented with the book “Farzandnoma” by O. Makhmudov, a member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan.
During the event, the Deputy Chairman of the Treasury Committee, Juraev Numon Rustamovich, asked participants an interesting question based on “Temur’s Code.” The employee who answered correctly was personally awarded a book. In addition, Gulbahor Yusupalikhodjayeva, a responsible staff member of the Treasury Women’s Committee, also presented a book and emphasized that such book competitions are very beneficial for civil servants.
This competition contributes to the widespread promotion of reading culture among civil servants, further strengthening respect and attention to our historical heritage, as well as reinforcing team unity and the spiritual and educational environment. In particular, the rich legacy of the great commander and statesman Amir Temur, his principles of just governance, and his strategic vision for building a strong state remain relevant today.
