Chairman of the Treasury Service Committee A. Khaydarov held a meeting with Yoon Jeong Shik (Yoon, Jeong Shik), Head of the Bureau for Innovation of Budget and Accounting Systems (Deputy Director General) at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Korea.
During the meeting, the parties comprehensively discussed the issues of wide-scale implementation of modern information and communication technologies aimed at improving the system of effective public financial management.
In particular, special attention was paid to increasing the efficiency of budget processes through their digitalization and automation, reducing the human factor, and ensuring the promptness of decision-making processes.
The parties also exchanged views on strengthening the transparency and accountability of financial operations, improving public and institutional oversight of public finances, and implementing measures to ensure data openness and reliability.
Within the framework of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Treasury Service Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Korea Fiscal Information Service, aimed at further strengthening mutual cooperation in developing public financial management information systems, exchanging experience, and expanding institutional collaboration.
This document serves as a solid legal foundation for the implementation of joint projects and the adoption of best practices between the two countries.

During the visit, a meeting was also organized with representatives of the National AI Strategy Council under the President of the Republic of Korea and the National Information Society Agency.
Within the framework of this dialogue, the delegation members were provided with detailed information on the reforms being implemented in the Republic of Korea regarding the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in public administration, digital transformation, and innovative governance solutions. This included achievements in implementing modern digital platforms in public financial management, improving data-driven decision-making mechanisms, and digitalizing public services.
Within the presented information, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of studying advanced international experience and adapting it for implementation in national practice.
