A meeting was held at the Agency for the Development and Regulation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Energy Market with a delegation from Mongolia.
At the meeting, the parties reviewed the energy sector reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years, including electricity market regulation, the introduction of market mechanisms, and the engagement of the private sector in the industry.
The Agency’s Director, Sherzod Khodjayev, presented insights on ongoing reforms to liberalize Uzbekistan’s energy market and attract private investment.
The Mongolian delegation emphasized the significance of Uzbekistan’s energy sector reforms and expressed a willingness to continue exchanging experiences.
Following the meeting, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation.
