The State Assets Management Agency of the republic of Uzbekistan

According to the announcement of the State Assets Management Agency in mass media from September 26 this year on public offering of UZEX shares within the framework of "People's IPO" program, the following is reported.

State Assets Management Agency together with the international company KPMG on the basis of the best offer attracted investment company KAP DEPO (consortium of underwriters Kapital-Depozit LLC, Satori Capital LLC and Satori IB Group LLC) as an underwriter for organization of public offering of UZEX shares.

To accept applications from local investors, in addition to the existing methods on the trading floor of the RSE “Toshkent”, the possibility of online purchase of shares through the electronic trading platform "E-Auksion" (ipo.e-auksion.uz) and its mobile application, as well as through the application GoInvest of the company KAP DEPO and Jett service (applications Multicard, Zoomrad, MyUztelecom, DavrMobile) and its web-terminal app.jett.uz was provided.

In addition, in order to ensure a competitive environment in the process of public offering of UZEX shares and to expand the public participation, more than 10 investment intermediaries were additionally attracted, such as JSC “Mulk Sarmoya Brokerlik Uyi”, LLC “Freedom Finance”, LLC “Alkes Research”, LLC “Alp Omad Invest”, LLC “Premium Finance”, LLC “Qoraqalpogiston Vaqt”, LLC “Dalal Standart”, LLC “Leader Finance Capital”, LLC “Silk Capital”, LLC “Ishonch Ltd”, LLC “Tat-Reestr” and LLC “Finance Invest Brok”.

As a result of conducted promotional and awareness raising activities and Roadshow presentations in the regions, as well as the interest shown by the citizens, a sufficient number of applications were collected to purchase the offered shares.

Nevertheless, a high interest on the part of the public to purchase the shares is still being observed.

Also, since the processes of promotion of the public offering of UZEX shares coincided simultaneously with the political event in the country - campaign for the election of deputies of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis and local Kengashes, as well as taking into account the existing demand for shares, the underwriters proposed to extend the deadline for accepting applications.

Taking into account the abovementioned, in order to create wide opportunities for participation to all layers of population in the "People's IPO" program and to ensure the public character of the process through the participation of a significant part of the population, the deadline for public offering of UZEX shares is extended until 23:59 (Tashkent time) on November 8, 2024.
