A training seminar was organized at the State Assets Management Agency within the framework of implementing the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 18, 2025 (No. PD-252) “On additional measures to further improve the activities of public audit and financial control”.
In accordance with this Decree, the position of a Chief Inspector has been introduced in ministries and agencies as a representative of the Accounts Chamber, whose main responsibilities include preventing violations of budget legislation, assessing financial risks, analyzing the efficiency of fund utilization, and ensuring legality in public procurement.

The seminar was held under the leadership of Nodir Khusanov, First Deputy Director of UzSAMA, and was conducted by Ilyor Ergashev, Chief Inspector of the Accounts Chamber. It was attended by deputy heads for financial matters, chief accountants, economists, as well as responsible staff of procurement, compliance, and internal audit units within UzSAMA system.

During the event, issues related to advancing the system of public financial control to a new level were discussed, particularly the broad implementation of the principle of “prevention rather than detection”. Practical guidance was also provided on strict compliance with budget legislation, early identification of financial risks, and the efficient and targeted use of public funds. In addition, recommendations were made to ensure transparency and legality in public procurement processes, reduce corruption risks, and strengthen financial discipline.

This training seminar serves to further improve the system of public financial control, enhance openness and transparency, and ensure the efficient use of budget funds.
