The State Assets Management Agency of the republic of Uzbekistan

On April 21, 2026, a meeting was held between Sohibjon Murodov, Director of the State Assets Management Agency, and Tommy Hosea, Vice President of GM International.

During the negotiations, the parties comprehensively reviewed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the automotive industry. In particular, they exchanged views on the implementation of joint projects, achieved practical results, and priority areas for further development of the sector.

In addition, special attention was given to attracting foreign investors, including U.S. business circles, to the privatization of state assets with high investment potential within the framework of the new privatization program. The parties emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in this area, creating a favorable and stable business environment for investors, and consistently ensuring the principles of openness and transparency.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue strengthening cooperation, improve the efficiency of ongoing projects, enhance mutual dialogue, and effectively utilize existing opportunities in the sector.
