On March 4 of this year, the Director of the State Assets Management Agency held negotiations with H.E. Mr. Ufuk Ulutaş, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties particularly emphasized that relations between Uzbekistan and Türkiye continue to develop consistently in the spirit of high-level trust and strategic partnership. It was noted that the systemic reforms implemented in recent years have brought investment and trade-economic relations between the two countries to a new level.

At the same time, specific proposals were put forward aimed at further expanding the participation of Turkish business circles in the privatization processes in Uzbekistan. In particular, the Turkish side supported the proposal to establish a mechanism, with the practical assistance of the Embassy, for the targeted dissemination of investment proposals on state assets to leading Turkish holdings, industry associations, and major industrial groups, as well as to organize a large-scale investment Roadshow event in Ankara or Istanbul.
The parties also discussed the implementation of joint projects within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum this year, as well as the broader involvement of Turkish investors in the privatization processes in Uzbekistan. Within the framework of the forum, presentations of investment-attractive state assets, sectoral panel sessions, as well as meetings in B2G and B2B formats are planned.

The meeting was recognized as an important step toward further strengthening bilateral economic cooperation and advancing mutually beneficial partnership to a new stage through the implementation of concrete investment projects.
