The center was established by “Akademiya IT Star” enterprise pursuant to the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 26, 2024, aimed at developing the export of services in the field of digitalization.

Information technology is becoming one of the most in-demand fields among young people. Therefore, expanding opportunities in the regions to acquire modern IT professions, develop practical skills and create competitive software products is of particular importance.

The total value of the project amounts to 15 billion soums, and 100 jobs have been created.

The center enables young people from rural areas and districts to acquire modern knowledge and in-demand professions in their own communities without having to travel to other regions. Training is provided in marketing, programming and robotics, allowing young people to apply their knowledge in practical projects.

Local entrepreneurs are also making effective use of the center’s facilities. They receive consulting and IT services on developing their businesses through artificial intelligence. To date, services worth a total of 8.5 billion soums have been provided to more than 500 business entities.

Today, the 65,000 business entities operating in the region require more than 129,000 specialists, including SMM managers, mobile content creators, graphic designers, marketers, data analysts and artificial intelligence specialists. The center’s educational programs have been developed based on this demand.

The President closely reviewed the startups created by young people and highly appreciated their knowledge and intellectual potential. During a sincere dialogue, the young men and women put forward new initiatives and proposals aimed at further developing the startup ecosystem in Uzbekistan.
