Dear residents of our district and esteemed guests visiting our town,
As we all know, in recent years the world has experienced significant increases in air temperatures, and climate change processes associated with global warming have also had a noticeable impact on the climate of our country.
During the summer season, the demand for cooling equipment increases sharply, which may lead to overloads in electrical networks. In addition, the failure to clear residential areas and large industrial sites of dry vegetation contributes significantly to the rise in the number of fires.
In order to prevent possible fires during the summer season, address existing challenges in this area, and further improve the effectiveness of preventive measures through additional fire safety requirements, the nationwide campaign entitled “Critical 60 Days for Fire Prevention During the Summer Season” will be conducted from July 5 to September 5 of the current year.
During the campaign, working groups established at the regional, city, and district levels will focus on the following priority areas:

Monitoring compliance with the safe use of electricity, natural gas, and liquefied gas in residential areas, as well as other fire safety requirements, and eliminating identified violations.

Conducting preventive inspections to ensure fire safety in educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and other social and economic establishments.

Reviewing compliance with occupational safety, industrial safety, and fire safety regulations at energy supply facilities and addressing identified shortcomings.

Ensuring adherence to fire safety requirements in markets, shopping complexes, and other crowded public places.

Implementing enhanced preventive measures aimed at preventing emergencies and ensuring fire safety in summer camps, sanatoriums, and other recreation and wellness facilities.

Ensuring fire safety in forestry areas.

Bringing the fire safety condition of facilities designated for entrance examinations for the 2026–2027 academic year into full compliance with established standards.
The timely and effective implementation of these measures will help protect the property accumulated by our citizens through years of hard work from fires and other accidents and, most importantly, prevent loss of life caused by fire incidents.
We kindly ask all residents to consistently observe the following safety recommendations:

Never leave open flames unattended.

Do not throw cigarette butts onto dry grass or combustible waste.

Regularly inspect electrical appliances and do not use defective equipment.

Do not connect several high-power electrical devices to a single socket.

Keep yards and surrounding areas free from dry grass and flammable waste.

Do not allow children to play with matches or other spark-producing devices.

Whenever possible, avoid direct exposure to sunlight between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

In the event of a fire or any other emergency, immediately call the emergency number 112.
