As part of the project, work has begun to integrate gas distribution networks of different pressures and diameters connected to the “Chinobod” Automatic Gas Distribution Station (AGDS) into a single unified system.
To provide uninterrupted natural gas supply to households and bulk consumers in the Omonariq, Botir, Farovon, Chinobod, Markaz, Sho‘r, Qiyali, Zahkash, To‘da, and Nurafshon neighborhoods, two high-pressure gas pipelines are being constructed from the AGDS.
The project includes dismantling approximately 20 kilometers of outdated gas pipelines and replacing them with a new 1-kilometer unified pipeline, which will be connected to a dedicated collector system.
As a result of these measures, natural gas pressure is expected to improve significantly for approximately 3,400 households. In addition, 1,250 households will be transferred to a modern two-stage gas supply system.
The primary objective of the project is to bring gas pressure closer to residential areas and prevent possible supply interruptions during the upcoming heating season.
Currently, specialists from the gas supply branch’s construction and installation department are actively installing the new pipelines on reinforced concrete supports and conducting pressure tests on the system. The modernization project is expected to be completed and commissioned in the coming days.
