A regular important meeting was held at the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of Council members.
During the meeting:
— the performance of production and export forecast indicators for the first quarter was analyzed;
— priority plans and tasks for the second quarter were defined;
— conclusions of the Council’s experts on changes in the global textile market and market conditions were presented.
The effectiveness of financial stabilization measures implemented by the Agency was also discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, important decisions were adopted aimed at further developing the sector and increasing export potential.
