Attention: Cotton-textile clusters, textile and garment & knitwear enterprises!
On March 12, 2026, at 14:00, an important meeting with the participation of representatives of the light industry sector will take place in Tashkent.
The meeting is organized by the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Venue:
Uzbekistan–Korea Training and Practical Technopark
During the meeting, the following issues will be discussed:
– cotton cultivation,
– its processing,
– and the production of finished products,
including existing challenges, practical proposals, and possible solutions.
An open dialogue will also be organized with representatives of cotton-textile clusters, textile and garment & knitwear enterprises, as well as members of the Public Council in the field of light industry.
The meeting will provide an important opportunity for industry representatives to directly present their challenges to responsible organizations and offer effective proposals.
