On February 17, 2026, the Director of the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nozimjon Kholmurodov, held a meeting with Hikmat Gyumyusher, a member of the Board of Directors of Turkey’s major industrial company KİPAŞ HOLDİNG.
During the meeting, cooperation in the light industry sector, technological exchange, and investment opportunities were discussed.
For reference: KİPAŞ HOLDİNG is a Turkish company established in 1984, operating in the fields of electric power, paper, cement, agriculture, and textiles. The company is one of the textile manufacturers in Europe, producing 80 million meters of fabric and 146 thousand tons of yarn annually, and exporting its products to more than 100 countries worldwide.
The annual export volume of KIPAŞ TEXTILES is approximately USD 150 million, while the holding’s total annual revenue amounts to USD 1 billion.
This meeting will contribute to strengthening strategic cooperation between the two countries in the light industry sector.
