250 young people conducted a test flight of their mini-satellites!
In order to further increase interest in space technologies, astronautics and technology among young people, to support their ideas, initiatives and inventions in this area, the Uzbekcosmos agency conducted the next test flights of the UzCanSat project at the Yangi Hayot open airfield located in the Orta-Chirchik district of the Tashkent region.
A group of about 250 high school and university students conducted a real flight of their microsatellites using drones, obtaining primary data such as air temperature, altitude and pressure monitoring from an altitude of 1000-1500 meters.
This project, initiated by the Uzbekcosmos agency, is one of the interactive methods of training personnel in the direction of STEAM education and is of great importance in the further development of scientific and creative abilities of young people, attracting them to the aerospace industry and thereby training a new generation of space engineers.
The test flights involved 250 students and pupils from the National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, New University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Transport University and Sehriyo School. collected.
