As we previously reported, the Uzbekcosmos Agency is launching the Cansat project for schoolchildren interested in space technologies, astronautics and engineering. Yesterday, a test event on the development and launch of a CanSat-type satellite was held at the Yangi Hayot airfield in the Orta Chirchik district of the Tashkent region. This experiment was organized in cooperation with the Uzbekcosmos Agency, the Sehriyo school and Uzaerospace.
More than 100 young people participated in the project and tested their knowledge and creative abilities. Mini satellite modules developed by young inventors were raised to a height of 200 meters and 500 meters using drones. During the flight, the modules were able to record various important data in real time, such as altitude, temperature, pressure and inclinometry. Through these technological achievements, the participants took their first steps in space exploration.
Another interesting event was the launch competition of pneumatic-hydro rockets created by schoolchildren. The rockets made by young people with their own hands soared into the sky, further increasing their enthusiasm for science.
This event created an effective platform for attracting the younger generation to the world of aerospace technologies, developing their creative abilities and implementing scientific developments.
