The Agency of "Uzbekcosmos"

From January 15 to 20 of this year, a delegation led by Shukhrat Kadyrov, Director of the Uzbekcosmos Agency, is on a working visit to the People's Republic of China, where they are holding a series of meetings with the heads of leading Chinese companies in the field of space systems and technologies.
The Uzbek delegation held fruitful negotiations with representatives of the China National Space Administration (CNSA), the Great Wall Industrial Corporation of China (CGWIC) and the China Electronic Technology Group (CETC), as well as the Institute of Information Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. (AIRCAS).

The meetings discussed in detail the prospects for bilateral cooperation in such areas as education and personnel training, the development of geoinformation systems, and the creation of land and space infrastructure. Plans and initiatives to establish in-depth cooperation between educational institutions in the field of personnel training, including the possibility of scientific exchange of students, and in the field of space systems and technologies - geoinformation systems.
Following negotiations with the Institute of Information Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a memorandum was signed that opens up new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education and personnel training, as well as remote sensing, earth and space technologies, and short-term training programs.
