NASA Space Apps hackathon held in Tashkent

On October 7-8, the NASA Space Apps hackathon, organized by the Uzbekkosmos Agency under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was held at INNOTECHNOPARK in Tashkent.
The NASA Space Apps hackathon program is an international event that brings together programmers, designers, scientists, entrepreneurs and representatives of many other specialties, allowing them to gather in real or virtual teams and use open NASA data to solve various problems.
This event is aimed at increasing public interest in the aerospace industry, strengthening cooperation between space agencies, and searching for new talents among young professionals. More than 30 thousand people from 160 countries participate in it every year!
More than 350 applications were received for participation in the hackathon held in Tashkent, of which 250 were selected. This hackathon includes topics such as astronomy, geology, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), tasks related to data processing, as well as opportunities to improve non-standard thinking skills and contribute to the development of the republic's space industry.
The winners of the hackathon will be announced on October 8 of this year. Additional information about them will be provided.
