The Agency of "Uzbekcosmos"

The space sector is opening up more opportunities for young professionals around the world. Taking part in international space projects is becoming not only a way to gain knowledge, but also an opportunity to work directly with technologies that may one day reach beyond Earth.

Among the participants of the Mission ShakthiSAT international initiative are representatives from Uzbekistan. The project brings together young women from 108 countries, giving them the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in space engineering.

As part of the programme, participants learn the fundamentals of spacecraft design and development, explore engineering solutions, and take part in practical stages related to satellite assembly and integration. This approach allows them to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world space technologies.

For the representatives of Uzbekistan, participation in Mission ShakthiSAT has become an opportunity to gain international experience and take part in the process of developing space technology.

One of the Uzbek representatives is currently in India, where she is participating in the practical stage of satellite integration. E’zoza Ergasheva and Baxodirova Durdona serve as official Mission ShakthiSAT Ambassadors, representing Uzbekistan at the international level.

The participation of young Uzbek women in this initiative is supported by Uzbekcosmos. Projects like this provide young specialists with an opportunity to go beyond academic education and gain practical skills and international experience that can contribute to their future careers in the space sector.

Today, they are working with engineering modules and learning about key stages of satellite development. Tomorrow, this experience may serve as a strong foundation for their participation in new space projects in Uzbekistan.

Developing the space sector is not only about building satellites, rockets, and ground infrastructure. Above all, it is about developing skilled professionals capable of designing, developing, and managing complex technological systems.
