The Agency of "Uzbekcosmos"

In recent years, at the initiative of our President, consistent reforms have been carried out in our country to develop space activities, widely introduce modern space technologies into economic sectors, and improve digital management systems for regions.

As part of the implementation of these priority tasks, the Governor of Kashkadarya region Murotjon Azimov got acquainted with the presentation of the work being carried out in the region in 2026 and future projects by the Uzbekkosmos agency.

The presentation was attended by the leadership of the Space Technology Agency, industry specialists, and heads of relevant regional organizations.

During the event, issues of monitoring agricultural land based on satellite data, effective management of water resources, strengthening environmental control, widespread use of space technologies in construction and territorial planning, and other areas were discussed. Views were also exchanged on the results of projects implemented in the region and future priority plans.
