The Agency of "Uzbekcosmos"

A meeting was held between the management of the Uzcosmos agency and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Uzbekistan. During the talks, special attention was paid to the implementation of space technologies in economic sectors, the development of scientific research, personnel training, and the implementation of joint projects.

China's advanced space experience opens up vast opportunities for Uzbekistan. This facilitates the acceleration of technology transfer and the acquisition of new knowledge. Space cooperation, above all, yields practical results in the real sector: it enables accurate forecasting of agricultural yields, efficient management of water resources, enhanced environmental monitoring, and improved urban development and infrastructure planning.

Furthermore, during the meeting, projects initiated by the head of state to launch Uzbekistan's first scientific satellite and train its first national cosmonaut were discussed, as well as plans in this area.
