Akmal Narimanovich Nazarov has been appointed Press Secretary and Advisor to the Director for Information Policy at the Agency for Space Research and Technology under the Ministry of Digital Technologies (Uzbekcosmos). The appointment was made in coordination with the Center for Content Preparation for Mass Media under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

A.N. Nazarov graduated with a bachelor's degree in international journalism from the Uzbek State University of World Languages ​​in 2004 and a master's degree in public relations from the journalism department of the National University of Uzbekistan in 2007.

He began his career in 2004 at the National News Agency of Uzbekistan as a columnist. He subsequently worked as a news editor for the radio station "Poytaxt FM," a correspondent and editor-in-chief for the newspaper "Bank axborotnomasi," and as an editor of the innovation department and deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine "Bozor, pul va kredit." From 2018 to 2019, he served in the Public Relations and Legal Information Department of the State Tax Committee as Senior Inspector and Chief Inspector.

Prior to his appointment, from 2020 to May 2025, A.N. Nazarov served as Director of the Public Relations and Communications Policy Department of the Central Bank, and from May 2025, he served as Press Secretary of the Table Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan.
