The Agency of "Uzbekcosmos"

An educational meeting was organized for women working at the Uzbekcosmos Agency on the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day.

The event was attended by Sobirova Kamola Shavkatovna, Advisor on Women's Issues of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who shared her experience in expanding the participation of women in modern technologies and the space sector, supporting their professional potential.

As noted at the meeting, today the space industry is one of the fastest developing strategic areas in the world. Therefore, not only engineering or scientific knowledge is important in this area, but also innovative thinking, management, communication and analytical skills. Developed countries are paying special attention to increasing the share of women in the space industry. In this regard, increasing the activity of women in the development of space technologies is also becoming an urgent issue in Uzbekistan.

The event provided information on the work being carried out to strengthen the role of women in the state system. Such dialogues, while strengthening the social environment within the organization, also serve to fully realize the potential of women, who constitute an important part of human capital in the development of Uzbekistan's space industry.
