In recent years, sports events promoting a healthy lifestyle have become increasingly popular in our country. In particular, running has become a symbol of human will, perseverance and solidarity. In this spirit, the international charity run “Samarkand Marathon-2025” was held in the historical city of Samarkand on November 8-9.

More than 8 thousand participants from more than 50 countries took part in this year's marathon. Among them, employees of the “Uzbekkosmos” agency actively participated as the “Uzcosmos” team, successfully covering distances of 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, 21 km and 42.2 km. Each kilometer represented willpower, health and team spirit.

It is important to note that since 2019, “Samarkand Marathon” has been promoting not only sports, but also the idea of ​​​​charity. Part of the funds raised from participants will be directed to support orphanages, centers for the disabled, and ecological projects. Thus, running will become not only a symbol of healthy living, but also a symbol of kindness and solidarity. We are very pleased that the employees of the Uzbekcosmos Agency are part of this work.
