1. The Republic of Uzbekistan intends to apply for financing from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) toward the cost of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm Local Roads Network Reconstruction Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for KKLRNP-CW-02.
2. The Agency “Avtoyulinvest” now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Tenderers from eligible and qualified bidders for the Contract No. KKLRNP-CW-02, for Reconstruction of 328,1 km local roads in the Republic Karakalpakstan: Lot 1: Reconstruction of 96 km local roads in Amudarya, Beruniy, To’rtkul and Ellikkala regions; Lot 2: Reconstruction of 83 km local roads in Kegeyli, Chimbay, Nukus, Takhtakopir and Karauzak regions; Lot 3: Reconstruction of 92 km local roads in Shumanay, Kanlikul, Muynak and Xojayli regions; Lot 4: Reconstruction of 57,1 km local roads in Kungrad region. For each Lot the duration of the contract will be 5 years, out of which the construction period is 1095 days, the Defects Notification Period is 730 days. The key qualification criteria for Tenderers are given below and are further elaborated in Section III of the bidding document whereby in case Tenderer bids for several Lots, the requirements of each Lot will be summed up.

3. Tenderers may tender for one or several contracts, as further defined in the Tender Document. Tenderers wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Tender
4. Tendering will be conducted through International Open Competitive Tendering procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Instructions for Recipients (PIR), and is open to all eligible Tenderers as defined in the PIR.
5.
