1. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the Rural Roads Resilience Sector Project on 11 December 2023, following a request from the Republic of Uzbekistan. The project aims to rehabilitate approximately 700 km of rural roads across Uzbekistan. A portion of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
2. The Committee for Roads under the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for RRRSP-CW3: Works for Rehabilitation and Performance-based Maintenance Services of Rural Roads in Tashkent Region (Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4) (“the Works”).
3. Open Competitive Bidding (national advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications may participate in this bidding:

Participation as a contractor, joint venture partner or subcontractor in one single contract that has been successfully and substantially completed within the last seven (7) years, and that is similar to the proposed work, where the cost of the Bidder's participation exceeds the value provided per lots below: The similarity of Bidder’s participation shall be based on construction of cement or asphalt concrete paved roads with road width of at least 4.5 meters. |
The Bidder should have an average annual construction turnover of USD as mentioned below calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last three (3) years. |
