The project "Reconstruction of the M37 "Samarkand - Bukhara - Turkmenbashi" highway on sections of 207 - 365 km (158 km) is being implemented.
This project is carried out pursuant to the Presidential Decree No. PQ–330, “On Measures for Further Improvement of the Road Sector”, and in line with the General Procurement Notice published by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) on 27 September 2019. Implementation is being conducted in accordance with the applicable laws and requirements of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the AIIB. Additionally, a Request for Expressions of Interest has been developed for the preparation of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and the Paris Agreement Alignment and Climate Finance Assessment (Paris Alignment) documents.
