Credit agreement (IsDB) : Loan UZB-0086 (preferential); credit amount: 106.7 mln USD; loan term: 20 years; grace period: 5 years; interest rate: 2.1% bp per annum

Credit agreement (OPEC) : Loan 15551P (concessional); loan amount: 47.25 mln USD; loan term: 20 years; grace period: 5 years; interest rate: 6 months - 2.3% bp, annual 0.25%, one-time brokerage fee - 0.25%.

Total percentage: 2.1 %+ 2.3 %= 4.4 %

Credit value: 153,95 mln USD

Implementation period : 2024 - 2029 years.

Project capacity: 60 km.

Project area: Kashkadarya region, Guzor and Dehkanabad districts.

The total cost of the project 195,5 mln USD of which the share of the Islamic Development Bank – 106,7 mln USD, the share of the OPEC International Development Fund – 47,25 mln USD, the share of the Republic of Uzbekistan – 41,5 mln USD.

The reconstruction of 4-laned cement-concrete paved road on the
1255-1315 km (60 km) section of the M39 “Almaty – Bishkek – Tashkent – Shakhrisabz – Termez” highway.

Consultant: "TEMELSU International Engineering Services Inc. (Turkey) A contract worth 3,9 mln USD was signed with the company on May 31, 2024. The contract is valid until May 30, 2030.

The contracts for the first lot within the project (46,9 mln USD) and the second lot (27,04 mln USD) by the Chinese company "China Road and Bridge Corporation", the third lot with the “Dineshchandra-New-Tech-Tekar” joint venture for 33,5 mln USD were signed.

Today, construction and installation works are being carried out by contracting organizations.

In particular, within the framework of the project:

- earthworks in the volume of 2,64 million m3;

- leveling of the upper layer of the road base in the volume of 261,4 thousand m2;

- 1427,0 pm drainage works;

- dismantling works of existing asphalt-concrete coating in the volume of 149,6 thousand m2;

- 11,9 km long on one side and 1,8 km on the other side, construction of cement concrete pavement was completed.

Also, construction and installation works are being carried out on bridges and structures within the framework of the project.
