Subsequently, the newly established exhibition museum in Axsikent and the symbolic dovecote of Umarshaykh Mirza were visited. Proposals were put forward regarding the interior design of the museum in a unique style. The works being carried out to cover the remains of an underground water facility dating back to the 10th–12th centuries were also examined.
In addition, the processes underway at the recreational areas being developed along the banks of the Syr Darya River were reviewed. In particular, the construction of the three-kilometer “Health Path” and the operation of the “Axsikent” family recreation complex were studied.
The Governor instructed specialists to take measures aimed at increasing the flow of tourists in the upcoming tourism season. Special emphasis was placed on the need for local residents to establish guest houses in order to generate income through tourism activities.
