The meeting was opened by the Hokim of Turakurgan District, Sherali Qosimov, who spoke about the outcomes of ongoing efforts to improve public welfare and develop the socio-economic sectors of the district, emphasizing that in the “Year of Mahalla Development and Social Progress” these initiatives would be further strengthened.
Ahadjon Mirzaev, Head of the Regional Department of the Mahalla Association; Shahboz Rahimov, Adviser to the Chairman of the Association’s Republican Board; and Muzaffar Khujamov, Professor of Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages, highlighted in their speeches that every citizen bears responsibility for the continued development and prosperity of the country, where peace and stability prevail. These ideas are clearly reflected in the Address.
In recent years, the outlook of the people has broadened, and there is a growing aspiration to build a достойный standard of living through honest labor. Following the seminar, visits were made to the households of Zargardor resident and skilled craftswoman Kunduzkhon Rozimova, as well as livestock breeder Akromjon Khalilullaev, who earns an annual income of 300–400 million soums. Discussions were held with mahalla chairpersons on disseminating and promoting their successful experience.
