The collaboration between the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I.Gerson was discussed

The leadership of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan had been at the Russian State pedagogical university named after A.I.Gersen located in Saint Petersburg. The aim of the meeting was the execution of the tasks which were given by the president of Uzbekistan - Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the 13th of February's videoconference about advancements on national olympic and paralympic movements, developing public sports and citizens' physical activeness.

A meeting was held with the university administration within the framework of the visit. During the meeting, both parties thoroughly discussed various opportunities for collaboration and agreed to strengthen their relationship. It was also emphasised that Gersen University would deliver a presentation at the conference scheduled to take place in Namangan in May.

During the visit, the committee leadership attended university departments and the ancient library, which boasts a rich history. Agreements were also reached regarding the exchange of important methodological resources.

Following that, a visit was made to the Adaptive Physical Education and Adaptive Sports Centre in St Petersburg, where an in-depth examination of the facilities, organisational structure, and operational system was conducted.
