To prevent crime, modern video surveillance systems have been installed in crowded public areas, near schools, and at the entrances and exits of mahallas. Markets, retail stores, and residential properties have been placed under security protection, while the entrance doors of apartment buildings have been reinforced and upgraded to improve safety. Meetings are regularly held with individuals under probation and preventive supervision, persons who have previously committed crimes or are considered at risk of offending, as well as with vulnerable groups of youth and women. Their social and personal issues are being addressed step by step.
In addition, law enforcement agencies continue to organize meetings with individuals under probation and preventive supervision, former offenders, persons prone to criminal behavior, and special categories of youth and women in order to resolve their existing problems and facilitate their social adaptation.
Although large-scale preventive campaigns known as “Tig” operations are being conducted among the population, and awareness-raising activities are continuously carried out among organizations, entrepreneurs, self-governing bodies, and citizens regarding the transfer of their buildings, facilities, property, streets, and residences under the protection of the district police department, the installation of surveillance cameras, and the necessity of promptly reporting potential criminal situations to the responsible authorities, some individuals still demonstrate negligence toward their own and others’ lives, health, property, and the rights and lawful interests protected by law.
In this regard, I urge all residents and visitors of our district not to carry items in public places that may be used as bladed or cold weapons, and to use sharp objects strictly in accordance with legal requirements. I would also like to remind everyone that such violations may result in legal liability under current legislation.
As many offenses in our district stem from family disputes and domestic conflicts, we respectfully ask our highly respected elders within the community to contribute to improving the atmosphere in such families by offering guidance, advice, and personal example.
To prevent such incidents in a timely manner, it is essential to strengthen cooperation between the general public, the representatives of the “Mahalla Seven” community structure, and law enforcement agencies.
Through these joint efforts, we can transform our communities into areas free from crime and faithfully fulfill all tasks entrusted by our Head of State, demonstrating personal responsibility and commitment.
