Priorities Set for Healthcare Development in Kokand

Kokand Mayor Marufjon Usmonov instructed responsible officials to implement local measures based on the priorities outlined at President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s meeting with representatives of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
The meeting focused on introducing new medical standards, using modern technologies and supporting healthcare professionals. Plans were announced to introduce artificial intelligence systems in cardiology, hepatology, ophthalmology and hematology beginning next year.
In line with these priorities, the mayor set tasks to improve the quality of medical care, enhance services for residents and expand the use of modern approaches in healthcare facilities.
He also emphasized the need to implement initiatives supporting healthcare workers, consider proposals from specialists and maintain consistent efforts to improve public health.
