Kokand Takes Steps to Ensure Budget Revenues

Kokand Mayor Marufjon Usmonov met with tax officials and representatives of the mahalla administration system to outline priorities for developing small-scale business projects in neighbourhoods, reducing poverty, encouraging entrepreneurship and helping unemployed residents find work.
Particular attention was paid to organising public outreach to encourage the payment of outstanding land and property taxes, as well as utility bills.
The mayor also addressed the registration of business entities and instructed officials to ensure that the process is organised effectively.
