Kokand Mayor Takes Steps to Address Young People’s Social Challenges

During a meeting held in the Rayhon neighborhood on the occasion of Youth Day, the mayor of Kokand met with local community representatives and outlined measures to promote youth employment, provide vocational training, and encourage young people to engage in small business and entrepreneurship.
The Kokand City Department for Poverty Reduction and Employment organized a job fair in the neighborhood, offering young people available vacancies at local enterprises, institutions, and organizations.
During discussions with young people, issues related to preferential loans for entrepreneurship, information technology training, and employment were addressed on the spot. Relevant instructions were given to the responsible officials.
In particular, a laptop was provided to a minor resident with a disability to help create the necessary conditions for acquiring knowledge and developing practical skills.
