The Mayor of Kokand inspected the construction of a five-star hotel in the “Qalandarkhana” mahalla as part of ongoing measures aimed at reducing poverty and creating new jobs. During the visit, existing challenges and issues related to the project were also reviewed.
The $10 million project will include 83 hotel rooms, a restaurant, breakfast hall, fitness center, swimming pool, SPA complex, beauty salon, pharmacy, and an open-air event venue with a capacity of up to 300 people.
In addition, a separate building is planned to house a wellness and recreation facility.
Once the project becomes operational, 150 people will be provided with permanent employment opportunities.
