Kokand is carrying out systematic efforts to reduce poverty, address social problems and ensure employment for residents.
Mayor of Kokand Marufjon Usmonov discussed the relevant issues with responsible officials and instructed them to address the social problems of residents on an individual basis, provide employment opportunities for unemployed citizens, support vocational training, and guide them towards business and entrepreneurship.
The meeting also focused on eliminating outstanding land and property tax debts among residents and strengthening awareness campaigns on the importance of paying taxes on time.
Responsible officials were instructed to ensure the timely and effective implementation of the assigned tasks, increase household incomes and further strengthen efforts to reduce poverty.
