Memorandum Signed Between Kokand and Veliko Tarnovo

As part of the Sister Cities Forum taking place in Samarkand, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Kokand City Administration and the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo, Republic of Bulgaria.
The agreement is aimed at fostering long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation between the two cities and strengthening partnerships in the fields of economic development, investment, tourism, culture, education, science, and sport.
Under the memorandum, the parties agreed to exchange official delegations, organise working meetings and business forums, share best practices in local governance, and develop and implement joint Roadmaps outlining priority areas of cooperation.
The signing of this memorandum marks an important milestone in expanding Kokand’s international partnerships, attracting new investment and humanitarian initiatives, and further strengthening the friendly ties between the cities of Kokand and Veliko Tarnovo.
