The conference was jointly organized by the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Khokimiyat (Municipality) of Kokand City in the Fergana Region, Kokand University, and the Sister Cities Alliance.
The event brought together university professors, lecturers, and students, municipal officials, compatriots living abroad, partner organizations, friendship societies, IT and AI specialists, architects-restorers, urban planning experts, research institutes, and media representatives.
The discussions focused on the application of artificial intelligence and advanced digital technologies in preserving, restoring, and monitoring cultural heritage sites to ensure they are passed down to future generations.
