The Mayor of Kokand held talks with Carvas Afonso, Head of the Portuguese company Delta Y.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the creation of an interactive online database covering the city's key economic sectors, the development of the digital economy, and the establishment of local digital centers to support Kokand’s digital transformation.
Following the negotiations, the relevant authorities will explore opportunities to develop and implement joint projects in cooperation with Delta Y.
The parties also agreed to establish technical cooperation on developing web-based software for the City of Kokand using open data hosted on servers located in Uzbekistan.
