Apartment buildings in the Alisher Navoi residential area of Kokand may be heated using thermal energy generated at the Indorama Textile enterprise

The Mayor of Kokand met with representatives of Indorama Textile to discuss the installation of generators with a power generation capacity of up to 12 megawatts at the enterprise.
As part of the project, opportunities are being explored to efficiently utilize the thermal energy produced during electricity generation, particularly by directing it to the heating system of apartment buildings in the Alisher Navoi residential area.
During the discussions, responsible officials were assigned specific tasks related to the preparation of design and cost documentation, coordination with relevant utility and infrastructure organizations, and the development of implementation mechanisms.
Once implemented, the project will promote efficient use of energy resources, provide residents with a stable heat supply, and support the introduction of modern energy solutions.
