Soldiers from various regions of the country arrived in Kokand to begin their mandatory military service in local units.
At the Kokand railway station, they were ceremoniously welcomed by representatives of the city administration, the Defense Department, public organizations, and youth associations.
During the ceremony, it was emphasized that, thanks to the President’s initiatives, reforms are being carried out to strengthen the power and capability of the national army, train qualified personnel, and highlight the peace-oriented policy pursued by the President on the international stage.
The soldiers were wished strength, resilience, and patience in their military service before being sent off to their respective units.
