The mayor of Kokand, during a seminar held at Kokand University, met with the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as well as the rectors of the Tashkent branch of Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology, Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan, and the Andijan branch of Kokand University. The discussions focused on implementing the President’s initiatives on youth engagement in Kokand, as well as improving the qualifications of teachers working in the city’s schools.
In particular, during a meeting with Jur’atbek Kuvvatov, rector of the Andijan branch of Kokand University, the expansion of joint projects, coverage of new districts of Kokand with volunteer services, and increasing the number of medical prevention and diagnostic activities were discussed.
The mayor also spoke with students of the Andijan branch of Kokand University, tested advanced medical prevention equipment, and exchanged views on volunteer projects being implemented in the city.
