Hyundai Heavy Industries Power Systems to invest in local heating systems in Kokand

Oybek Mingbayev, Deputy Mayor of Kokand, Head of the Investments, Industry and Trade Department, held talks with officials from the South Korean Hyundai Heavy Industries Power Systems.
During the talks, investors' proposals for the creation of a heating network designed to generate 10 MW/h of electricity and 20 gigacalories of heat per hour and deliver it to the population were considered.
Preliminary agreements have been reached on the project, which will cost more than $58 million. At the next stage, specific plans will be drawn up for the location of the multi-storey buildings and the heating center to be covered by the project.
