The meeting between Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Davron Vakhabov, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade. First Secretary of the Turkish Embassy in Uzbekistan Alijan Aksoy participated from the foreign side.
During the meeting, the dialogue participants paid special attention to opportunities for expanding trade and economic ties, attracting investments and developing mutually beneficial projects. In particular, they discussed prospects for the development of business sphere between Uzbekistan and Turkey and further increase in the volume of foreign trade between the two countries.
Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov and Turkish Ambassador Olgan Bekar expressed readiness to take all necessary measures to improve business conditions and create a favourable investment environment
Following the meeting, the participants discussed the prospects of strengthening and developing long-term partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey. Olgan Bekar noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey has a significant potential.
The discussion of prospects for strengthening and developing Uzbek-Turkish relations within the framework of this dialogue was a confirmation of the importance of strengthening interaction between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
