The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Institute of Macroeconomic and Regional Studies. The participants discussed the innovative development of the regional economy, the broader adoption of digital technologies, the modernization of industrial sectors, and the establishment of a Foresight Office for the construction materials industry.

Governor Khayrullo Bozorov emphasized that this field is developing rapidly and noted that the effective use of digital technologies and the training of highly qualified specialists are among the region's top priorities. He also expressed the regional administration's readiness to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of joint projects in these areas.

The meeting included an exchange of views on Fergana Region's industrial and investment potential, the deep processing of locally sourced raw materials, the introduction of energy-efficient technologies, the development of an innovation ecosystem, support for entrepreneurship, and the strengthening of cooperation among higher education institutions, research centers, and startups.

Samer Shidiak highly praised the ongoing reforms and favorable investment climate in Fergana Region, expressing his readiness to establish mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of innovation and strategic development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to promote the introduction of modern governance approaches and advanced international practices in Fergana Region, as well as to further expand practical cooperation.
