During the meeting, discussions focused on the reconstruction and restoration project of the pilgrimage complex developed by the regional administration.
The name of the complex — “Sohibi Hidaya” — is closely associated with the renowned scholar Burhoniddin ar-Roshidoniy al-Marg‘inoniy, one of the greatest representatives of Islamic jurisprudence and widely known by the title “Burhoniddin val-Milla.” His celebrated work Al-Hidaya occupies a distinguished place in the treasury of world scholarship. The name “Sohibi Hidaya” derives from Persian and means “the author (owner) of the work Hidaya.”
According to the project, modern buildings and facilities will be constructed within the complex, along with the establishment of a scientific and practical center and a library with an extensive collection. The project also envisages further development of pilgrimage tourism infrastructure.
The regional governor emphasized that the site should become not only a pilgrimage destination but also a major educational center dedicated to studying and promoting the scientific and intellectual heritage of our great ancestors.
Relevant officials were instructed to finalize the design phase and begin construction works.
